As a child, Master Eunice grew up with her maternal grandmother, Ruanbena, an expert of medicinal plants and a healer (curandera). Eunice began at a very early age to experience the teaching of the Master plants and her grandmother showed her the secrets and benefits of the plants.
In her adulthood, Eunice continued to develop her shamanic skills and knowledge led by her older brother, Maestro Heberto. Currently, they offer Ayahuasca ceremonies near Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest.
Maestra Eunice's project is to open her shamanic centre, Bena Caya, for people to make their medicinal plant diets (dietas) for shamanic healing and shamanic training.
For Maestra Eunice, the connection from the heart with Master plants during "dietas" is crucial. She says, “Plants teach you how to heal, how to expand and dream.”

Why Bena Caya?
Bena is to honour Maestra Eunice’s grandmother, called Ruanbena. In Shipibo language, Bena means “new” and Caya means “spirit”. Bena Caya (“new spirit”) is the rebirth of the spirit.
When Bena Caya came into the world, it was as if a new energy had been infused into the fabric of the universe. The name itself held the promise of renewal and transformation, echoing the essence of her grandmother's wisdom and resilience. Our aim is that everybody coming to Bena Caya will experience a rebirth of their spirit, embracing change and growth given by the Master plants.
